PandoCalendar requires Mac OS 9.1 and CarbonLib 1.2 or greater. You can download CarbonLib 1.2 from Apple at <http://asu.info.apple.com/swupdates.nsf/artnum/n11916>.
Installation
To install PandoCalendar:
(1) (If upgrading) Quit PandoCalendar.
(2) Open your startup disk. This is the disk that contains the active System Folder, and will normally be just below the menu bar on the right hand side of the screen.
(3) Open the ﾒSystem Folderﾓ.
(4) Open the ﾒStartup Itemsﾓ folder.
(5) (If upgrading) Move the ﾒPandoCalendarﾓ file in the ﾒStartup Itemsﾓ folder to the Trash.
(6) Select the ﾒPandoCalendarﾓ application file in the ﾒPandoCalendar ﾄﾓ folder.
(7) Choose ﾒMake Aliasﾓ from the ﾒFileﾓ menu.
(8) Move the file ﾒPandoCalendar aliasﾓ into the ﾒStartup Itemsﾓ folder.
(9) Close the ﾒStartup Itemsﾓ folder.
(10) Close the ﾒSystem Folderﾓ.
(11) Restart your Macintosh.
PandoCalendar is now installed and will display on your desktop.
When upgrading from any version of PandoCalendar prior to version 3.0, your frame will revert back to the default gold frame. Also, most of the patterned frames included with version 2.1 and 2.1.1 are not included with the program. They, along with over 100 new frames, may be obtained at PandaCorner.com and should be available on most Info-Mac mirror sites.
